 Runyon Ramblings 2/28/14

Runyon was a proud recipient of the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award given to select schools that demonstrate exceptional student growth. Damon Runyon is the only Littleton Public School to receive this honor. Additionally, all Littleton Public Schools were recently accredited with distinction – the only school district in the Denver Metro area to receive this honor for four consecutive years. Runyon has prioritized to keep its fine-arts programs going strong, which is quite an accomplishment when so many schools have had to eliminate their fine-arts programs. We also have a “Junior Green Team” to address sustainability goals – a model to which the school district showcases for other elementary schools.
