Work Based Learning Final Call: Internship Applications Closing Soon

All EPIC Campus Work-Based Learning Internship opportunities have now been posted! With more options than ever before, this is your chance to apply for real-world experiences that can launch your career and set you apart from the competition.

Eligibility

These internships are open to students who attended the Work-Based Learning Internship Informational Night in September. If you attended that session, you are eligible to apply.

Students

An email was sent with detailed instructions on how to apply through Vector, our internship management system. Please review that email and submit your resume and short application before the deadline.

All applications are due by midnight this Sunday, October 26th. Get those applications done early so you can have a relaxing weekend!

Parents

Your student should already have a resume started or completed. These internships help students gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and stand out as they prepare for their future careers.

All questions should continue to be directed to the EPIC Campus Work-Based Learning Office. Students should not contact industry partners directly.

Halloween at EPIC

Yes, the crazy costume holiday is upon us! Here are our guidelines for Friday, October 31 - let's have some fun... within the guardrails!

Students, your costumes must include your EPIC uniform shirt/sweatshirt. You must wear the shirt. Next, the costume must be school appropriate (no weapons or facsimile weapons, appropriate for what is happening in class, etc.) and meet dress code. And last, we must be able to identify you - no full face masks or full face paint. Thank you for your compliance!

October 29 - PSAT/NMSQT Testing for HHS and AHS students

On Wednesday, October 29th (Odd Day), Heritage High School and Arapahoe High School will be giving the National PSAT/NMSQT and there is an altered bell schedule. This will impact attendance at EPIC in a few ways. Students who are testing will be excused from their morning EPIC classes. These students should communicate with their instructors regarding their absence and missed learning. All other students are expected to be at EPIC Campus for the normal class times (9:40 - Noon). Littleton High School is also giving the test, but there is no altered bell schedule. LHS students who are testing will be excused. All other students are expected to be in class at the normal times.

Students who attend EPIC in the afternoon will choose between attending their 2nd and/or 4th period classes at AHS/HHS and attending the last part of class at EPIC OR a parent/guardian can call AHS/HHS to excuse their student from 2nd and/or 4th period so their student could attend EPIC at the normal class times (12:50 to 3:10 pm). Buses will run at normal times.
