Littleton Public Schools extends a wholehearted thank you to the 20 incredible student poets at LPS’s 15th Annual Poetry Slam! Held Tuesday, November 11 at Options High School, the event overflowed with creativity, courage, and community as students stepped into the spotlight of a dimly lit room, sharing original spoken-word pieces that offered reflective glimpses into their inner worlds. Acknowledging the power of igniting the soul with strength when creative expression is encouraged and celebrated, the LPS Poetry Slam is an avenue to highlight the positive impact of truly feeling seen and heard.

On Friday, November 6, 2025, EPIC Campus students participated in the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge at the Cable Center, joining 1,300 competitors from 35 metro-Denver high schools for an immersive, fast-paced, and high-energy emulation of Wall Street trading.

Arapahoe High School juniors and seniors got a real-world taste of personal finance during the “Adventures in Reality” simulation!

With help from ENT Credit Union and the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, students navigated real-life budgeting scenarios based on Colorado career data—all without leaving school. It’s hands-on, high-impact learning that makes financial literacy stick!

Nearly 100 eighth graders from across Littleton Public Schools gathered at Twain for a day devoted to leadership, teamwork, and community building during this year’s Middle School Leadership Conference. Students from Newton, Goddard, Littleton Preparatory, Options, Euclid, and Powell middle schools came together to sharpen skills that will help them become confident, compassionate leaders as they transition into high school.

Way to soar, Eagles!

Littleton Public Schools and Arapahoe County recently identified an issue with an address list that resulted in the omission of the Littleton Public Schools – School Director-At-Large contest from 59 mailed ballots.

Once the omission was identified, the County issued corrected ballots and contacted all affected voters via mail. County staff members also contacted voters via email and telephone, when possible.

Affected voters can vote and return their new, corrected ballot. If they have already returned the inaccurate ballot, it will be voided and the new ballot counted. Only one ballot per voter will be counted. 

All ballots must be returned to a drop box or vote center no later than 7 p.m. on Nov. 4. 

Every elector has the right to make their voice heard in contests for which they are eligible, and we make every effort to make certain that voter voices are heard.
